Accessibility statement
Pantry Club is a demo shop built by Kirosconsult. We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA, and we want every member to be able to use it.
What we checked
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text, in both the light and dark themes.
- Every button, link and field can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
- Tap targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- One main heading on each screen, with headings in order, and a skip link to the main content.
- Labelled form fields, with errors shown next to the field and read out by screen readers.
- Basket totals, group buy progress and order results are announced through live regions.
- Sheets and dialogs keep focus inside them and close with the Escape key.
- Movement stops when your device is set to reduce motion. The celebration becomes a still message.
- The app works at phone width without sideways scrolling.
Known gaps
- This is a demo and has not been audited by an outside specialist.
- Product pictures are drawn illustrations. Each product has its name and size written next to it.
- The countdown on each group buy updates every second on screen but is not read out each time, to keep screen readers quiet.
- We have tested with VoiceOver on iPhone and TalkBack on Android in short passes only.
